  1. Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m.

Business arising out of minutes:  Nothing at this time.
 
New business:  Proposed budget for the year ending May 31, 2007 announced – Projected income/loss:  $1.00.
 
Correspondence:  Funding request for Red River College Scholarship for Library and Information Technology Program.
 
Executive Reports
 
            * President:  Received greetings/appreciation from Kathy Knowles for dinner and fundraiser.  Also, a request to donate $250.00 to MLA for Planning Committee. 
 
            *Vice President:  Attended MLA meeting on November 6, 2006 at Millenium Library.  MLA Conference will be held May 7 to 9 at the Victoria Inn.  Any MALT members who volunteer will receive a MLA Conference discount.
 
            *Secretary:  Nothing at this time.
 
            *Treasuer:  Malt Network Dinner – Total Expense - $196.00.
 
            *Membership:  Need to update membership lists.
 
            *Newsletter:  Scan newsletter to PDF.
           
            *Communications Coordinator:  Nothing at this time.
 
            *Website Designer:  Keeping up with general updates.
 
            *Student Representatives:  Field placements are done.  Exams start December 11 to 13 and last day of classes is December 15, 2006.
 
Discussion and Recommendations
 
Marla (Library Technician) expresses concerns regarding the posting of Feliciter on MALT website and the future of Library Technicians in schools.
Look into a Cataloguing Refresher Course for half a day.  Ask for Pat Routledge to teach.
Rotary Career Symposium (April 11, 12, 2007) – take part? 
RRC Student Wind – up Event?
