Duties:

• In accordance with the general job description for library technicians

Qualifications:

• Library and Information Technology Diploma, Library Technician or Library Training Program Certificate, or a demonstrated commitment to complete such training required
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff and students
• Experience working in a school library required; knowledge and skill in working with automated library systems an asset
• Proficiency in computers (knowledge of Internet search/upkeep) an asset
• Ability to work in a French language environment required; fluently bilingual (French/English) preferred

Candidates from CUPE 3873 will be given first priority.
